Time seems to go by so fast nowadays and this is no exception. Our last Alzheimer&#8217;s person that was a problem left probably three months ago. It&#8217;s been unusually quiet and peaceful here since he left.

Mr. S has left our facility as of about two weeks ago. There is now calm and sanity here. No more worry about trying to get him off the toilet stool, no more hearing I don’t want to eat, no more new tactics to contend with.

I virtually forced my wife to put Mr. S out to avoid everything that was going on. She was reluctant to at first, but repeated serious problems with Mr. S and the Responsible Party made her come around.

Two days ago I prepared a notice for Mr. S’s Responsible party that we were more than doubling the pay for Mr. S if he was not discharged by August 31st. That was the final day for him to be gone from the facility.
